Welcome to the website of the award winning Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, Pi Iota Omega Chapter. Pi Iota Omega has been making a difference in our communities by being Supreme in Service to All Mankind since our chartering in 1986.
Pi Iota Omega has a history of empowering and activating our members to create and execute service programs that enhance, enrich and support the White Plains/Greenburgh communities. Our members provide a diverse pool of talents, which contributes positively to the impact the Pi Iota Omega chapter has.
In keeping with the vision of our Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® Founders, we strive to promote and uplift sisterhood and friendship, in addition to being of service.

Mission:
Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® was founded on a mission comprised of five basic tenets that have remained unchanged since the sorority’s inception more than a century ago.
Alpha Kappa Alpha’s mission is to cultivate and encourage high scholastic and ethical standards, to promote unity and friendship among college women, to study and help alleviate problems concerning girls and women in order to improve their social stature, to maintain a progressive interest in college life, and to be of “Service to All Mankind".

Our Vision:
To be shining pearls in the White Plains/Greenburgh Community providing innovative programs and service that will positively impact the lives we touch.

Service:
Pi Iota Omega Chapter continues to provide service programs to enrich and improve the White Plains/Greenburgh Communities.
