Pi Iota Omega has been Supreme in Service to All Mankind in the White Plains/Greenburgh community, as well as internationally, since our chartering in 1986. In keeping with the vision of our Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® Founders, we strive to promote and uplift sisterhood and friendship, in addition to being of service.

Our Mission
Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® was founded on a mission comprised of five basic tenets that have remained unchanged since the sorority’s inception more than a century ago. Alpha Kappa Alpha’s mission is to cultivate and encourage high scholastic and ethical standards, to promote unity and friendship among college women, to study and help alleviate problems concerning girls and women in order to improve their social stature, to maintain a progressive interest in college life, and to be of “Service to All Mankind."

With the 2022-2026 national administration theme, Soaring to Greater Heights of Service and Sisterhood, Alpha Kappa Alpha seeks to build upon it’s rich legacy of service by galvanizing our sisterhood of more than 120,000 active members to lead on the front lines of change, education, and advocacy.
